Terms
Payments: Payment for fees to a ScreenwritersPlus writer will be established and agreed to by both parties with payment made through a third party, i.e. Zelle, PayPal, bank transfer, etc.
Timeline: An agreed-upon timeline will be established and agreed to by both parties based upon the length of the work and other circumstances.
Review: The review/revision process for each work will be generous and frequent. This collaborative approach ensures the client is involved at each step of the process. Client has final say on creative decisions made over the course of the project.
Non-Disclosure Agreement: A non-disclosure agreement will be part of the final contract between the parties. This clause shall stipulate that the concept, story, and idea presented by the client will be held in the strictest confidentiality and not shared in any way publicly or with any individual except with the client's express consent.

What is the primary role of ScreenwritersPlus?
ScreenwritersPlus consists of a group of creative writers who are paid fees to write screenplays, novels, and memoirs based on your story idea, outline, or concept.
What are your fees?
Fees vary based on the length of the writing project, desired timeline, subject matter, whether the screenplay is an adaptation of an existing work, and other factors. Contact us through the provided form with more information about your needs, and we will be sure to provide you with a no-obligation customized quote.
Can ScreenwritersPlus get my movie made after writing the screenplay? How can I get a foothold in the industry?
You will need to contact entertainment professionals such as agents, managers, or producers to develop the screenplay we create with you into a fully-funded production. Screenplay competitions are also a way to get noticed. It's not easy! Believe in your story and remember that the journey to getting a movie made is a marathon and rarely ever a sprint!
Can ScreenwritersPlus get my already completed screenplay to a producer or agent?
ScreenwritersPlus does not have the resources to take on the role of getting your screenplay to a producer or agent. Similarly, we are unable to get a manuscript to an agent or publisher. That said, we can write the "sales pitch" you can use to approach professionals.
Are ScreenwritersPlus writers entitled to screen credits for screenplays or writing credits for novels or memoirs?
ScreenwritersPlus writers expect writing credits for their work. We are not ghostwriters. Instead, you and the chosen writer will usually operate under a co-writing credits arrangement. Under special circumstances, a writer can elect not to have his/her name appear on a completed work.
Will ScreenwriterPlus writers be entitled to any additional compensation for their work beyond the initial agreement?
Most often, you and your writer will act as co-authors of the work in question. As such, the writer is entitled to industry-standard writing fees beyond the amount you originally paid if a completed screenplay is bought, optioned, or otherwise produced. This fee will be paid by the producer and will not come out of your pocket. In the case of a novel or memoir which gets published (either self-published or via a traditional publishing house), the writer is entitled to some portion of the advance and/or any royalties generated by the book's sale. These fee structures are outlined in the Letter of Agreement signed before work commences.
Can I be hired by ScreenwritersPlus as a writer?
ScreenwritersPlus has a full staff of writers and a deep bench. We are not looking for any additional writers at this time.
Can I learn how to write a screenplay from ScreenwritersPlus?
Our screenwriters can provide instruction once a project is launched. Additional fees would apply. More frequently, however, our screenwriters do the writing with your supervision and frequent feedback.
If I learn to write screenplays through ScreenwritersPlus, will I receive a certificate or degree?
We are not an educational institution, and we offer no certificate or degree for clients who wish to learn screenwriting.
